Always food and great value

The food was good enough for Tex-Mex in Tuscaloosa. No one at our table left food behind. The service staff was thin and they had our waitress covering more than she could keep up with. Give them a try and be patient during the holidays. It's hard to find and keep good help and harder to keep them focused during the season.

Loved it!! Was amazingly good and the atmosphere was awesome!! Our waiter was on top of it-had everything there before you asked and the food was delicious!!

Best thing about this place is the scenery. Food is bland and not worth the price. Sure they give you a good quantity but I can cook better fajitas at home. Service staff is lacking a little in etiquette.

Eating here right now. We were greeted and seated quickly. The food is delicious and fresh and we got it fast. All of the employees have been so nice and friendly. Lovely atmosphere, love the decorations.

I was just in and I wasn't that hungry so I ordered just a bean dip, expecting it to be $3. The girl brings me my check and it's $9.81. I asked her about it and all she did was shake her head. She never asked what size I wanted. She never refilled our drinks either. Really disappointed! I want my money back.

The food is always on point and on time. I feel as though it's a more evening restaurant because or the atmosphere and the lighting but it is definately a destination for couple 5o go to share a romantic evening together

Awesome! 3 different dishes... freshly prepared and truly wonderful. So much food, we had 3 to go plates. Kamil will receive a mini buffet when we get home. Daniel... great attentive waiter. Atmosphere.... beautiful. Look 4ward to dining here again.

This is a pricey Mexican restaurant. But given, you walk-in knowing that, ambiance+service+food quality was worth the money in my opinion. Nicely decorated interior. We walked in about an hour and half before the closing time. The waiter had to come back 4-5 times before we were actually ready to order. Every time he asked politely and went back with a smile. The food was good. I decide quality of Mexican food based on 3 things- how soft the bread is, how fresh the veggies are, and if it's too salty. Their food passed in all three categories. In a small town like Tuscaloosa, restaurants always warm up pre-cooked meat and I am really okay with that. That's how they keep their serving time short. I ordered a Mexican coffee, which is a Mexican version of Irish coffee. I liked it too. A beef quesadilla and the Mexican coffee cost me $25. Yes that was the most expensive for all the Mexican restaurants I have ever been to.

For the price of the food the quality was really bad first and last time going there.

When we went about a year ago we were disappointed in the wait time. It took about an hour, we said we would not go back, but we did on this past Saturday and the wait time was 10 minutes and the food was fantastic. We can't wait to return to the Iguana Grill.

Great place for fast and affordable Mexican food. Love the atmosphere.

After a bit of an awkward moment in confusing us for a different party, they were still awesome with me and my spouse. They even sat us near the painting--a known PokeStop, lol. The margaritas were amazing, and the food was delicious. It's definitely one of our special places.

Maybe if I had gone by myself or with another person my experience may have been better, but I was there for a party and the service was terrible no one got any refills orders were all wrong. I don't mind tipping if the service was good but to be made to tip even if the service was horrible upset me I wouldn't recommend this place for a large crowd.

I love the Iguana Grill. If I eat Mexican, that's where I go. I always take my out of town guests there too.

I have given this place a fair try. Ate here 4 times and not happy. The atmosphere is amazing but the food is not. Every time I would order my food would always be sitting in sauces and be soggy. Not a fan.

Always great food & friendly service!

One of a plethora of Mexican restaurants in Tuscaloosa. The food is good, although the prices are somewhat higher than the other places in town. Service is always prompt. They used to bring out two bowls of salsa: the kind you're probably used to and a dark salsa with a very different flavor. They haven't done that in a while, so I don't know if they stopped serving it, or if you have to ask for it. I need to check on that during my next visit.

Cheese dip, guacamole great. BlackBerry margarita good. Extremely disappointing shrimp dish. Flan was awful. Service good. Not looking forward to it if we go back again.

I popped in late on a Friday night and enjoyed some very delicious Grilled Fish Tacos. Very flavorful with Guacamole and Pico de Gallo and a small side of rice. I sat at the bar and my food was delivered hot and the beverages were cold and tasty. I usually avoid “chain” restaurants but was pleasantly surprised by my experience. I won’t hesitate to return.

This restaurant is wonderful place for large family dinner outing or intimate getaway with significant other. Food is delicious, decor is unique and staff are the friendliest. I go here all the time

Really good house margaritas, food was good too but thought I was getting more meat with the amount of money the entree was, but good.

We eat here once or twice a year while in town and it's a great place to eat. The staff is always nice and smiling. We enjoy the atmosphere! Food is great as well!

Good food! And great size for large parties. Authentic music and convenient location. The restaurants design is elaborate and well done. Recomend coming at night for the best site of the lights inside.

A new family fave for Mexican food. Great service, taste, prices, and location. Love the atmosphere and we never have a problem getting our large family seated. Comfortable chairs too btw. And when you're finished eating, walk across to the playground and let your children wear themselves out while you digest lol! Or, go next door and grab a cupcake or edible arrangement for dessert.

Me and my cousin went to Iguana Grill to get a drink and a taco salad. The waiter brought it right out with in minutes we said oh that was fast. So when I put my fork in my taco salad the meat was hard & pink I called the waitress over to show her all she had to say was oh yea it’s pink would u like another one. I looked at her & said NO I wouldn’t. My cousin sent hers back also. Horrible customer service, they didn’t apologize or nothing. I will NOT be going back.
